This is a Safari extension, it can only block ads inside of Safari, NOT inside other browsers, apps or games. When possible use the web version (f.e. open youtube.com in Safari).

Safari sometimes doesn't reload filters after updating. Check if the app's extensions are still enabled in Settings, then force restart Safari (quit and reopen).

No. App uses Apple's official Content Blocking API - it supplies list of blocking rules to Safari without any access to your browsing data.

Apple limits one extension to 50,000 blocking rules - unfortunately that is not enough for modern adblocker. Splitting them into 6 extensions allows the app to supply Safari with up to 300,000 rules.

On iOS/iPadOS tap on the 'aA' button to the left of the address field and select 'Turn off Content Blockers' to pause blocking temporarily.
In the same menu, you can select 'Website Settings' and disable 'Use Content Blockers' to disable blocking permanently.

On macOS right-click on the refresh button to the right of the address field and select 'Turn off Content Blockers' to pause blocking temporarily. Right click on address field and select 'Website Settings' and disable 'Enable Content Blockers' to disable blocking permanently.

iOS/iPadOS:
Tap the 'aA' button to the left of the address field. Select 'Website Settings' and turn off 'Use Content Blockers'.
To view and manage the list, go to Settings > Safari > Content Blockers.

macOS:
Right-click the address field, choose 'Website Settings', and uncheck 'Enable Content Blockers'.
To view and manage the list, go to Safari > Preferences > Websites > Content Blockers.

1. Make sure Adblock Pro is enabled in Settings > Safari > Content Blockers (iOS) or Safari Preferances > Extensions (macOS).

2. Launch Adblock Pro and enable recommended options in the first tab.

3. Check your whitelist and see if there is not an entry for the unblocked website.

If that didn't help, restart your device and repeat the steps above. Try multiple websites, not just one page. If you're still experiencing the issue, please let us know.

Sync is only supported on app version 6.5 or later and on iOS 13 or later and macOS Catalina (10.15) or later. Sync can usually take up to one minute to propagate. If the sync seems stuck, sometimes restarting the app can fix it.

To easily adjust settings per website, you can add app's action button to Safari. On iOS/iPadOS tap on the share button in Safari, scroll down completely, tap on 'Edit Actions...' and add AdBlock Pro to the list.

JavaScript is a special language used to make websites interactive. But sometimes it can be used to insert ads or to track you online. Turning it off will mostly stop that, but it might break the website functionality too.
